This document contains the shipping and delivery policy information extracted from Bavarian Flooring's Terms and Conditions.

DELIVERY INFORMATION
Lead Time:
The standard lead time is usually 2-3 business days.
Delivery Charges:
- Delivery charges are based on the postcode location of your delivery address and the weight of the product ordered.
- If standard delivery is not available to your location, an appropriate delivery charge will be calculated for your postcode.
- Collection from warehouse is available with no delivery charges.
Non-UK Delivery:
Bavarian Flooring accepts orders from registered addresses outside the UK. However, delivery to non-UK addresses is worked out on a case-by-case basis. You must contact them to request a delivery price quote.

Collection Option:
You may opt to collect your product from their warehouse when placing your order. In this case, there will be no delivery charges applicable to your order.

DELIVERY PROCESS
Delivery Location:
- Delivery is aimed at the kerb-side at the nearest access point for the delivery lorry to your requested delivery address.
- You are responsible for transporting the product from the kerb-side once it has been unloaded.
Access Requirements:
If you have any doubt whether the delivery lorry will be able to access your delivery address due to size or weight restrictions, you must inform Bavarian Flooring when placing your order. Bavarian Flooring is not liable for non-delivery or delivery to an alternative location if access cannot be arranged due to lorry size.
Delivery Availability:
It may not be possible to deliver to some locations. Bavarian Flooring will inform you and arrange either order cancellation or an alternative delivery address.

DELIVERY TIMEFRAME
Standard Timeframe:
- Bavarian Flooring aims to deliver within the timeframe indicated at the time of order and updated in the Confirmation of Order.
- No exact delivery date can be guaranteed at the time of order or confirmation.
- You can provide a preferred delivery date when placing an order. Once the Confirmation of Order is sent, they will contact you to confirm the preferred date is possible or arrange an alternative.
- They aim to deliver in accordance with any confirmed delivery date but cannot guarantee firm delivery dates.
Delivery Hours:
- Bavarian Flooring aims to deliver between 8am and 6pm on Business Days.
- Specific estimates for delivery times cannot be given.
Late Delivery:
Bavarian Flooring is not liable for losses, liabilities, costs, damages, charges or expenses arising from late delivery, to the extent permitted by law.
Next Day Delivery:
- Next day delivery can be requested for orders.
- Next day delivery is only offered for orders placed by phone (with full payment received) before 12pm.
- Next day delivery is not available for orders placed on Saturdays, Sundays or Bank Holidays.
- Next day delivery is subject to stock availability, a surcharge, and depends on your delivery location.

ACCEPTING DELIVERY
Delivery Acceptance:
- Someone must be present at the delivery address to accept delivery. Anyone at the delivery address is deemed to be authorized to accept delivery.
- On delivery, you are required to sign for the product.
- You must inspect the product for correct quantities and any obvious faults, defects or damage before signing.
Reporting Damage or Faults:
- If the product has obvious faults, defects or damage on delivery, you MUST state this when signing for delivery.
- Failure to report damage/defects on delivery means they cannot replace the faulty product.
- You must keep the delivery receipt for future reference.
Claims for Damaged/Faulty Products:
You must submit any claim for faulty, defective or damaged products within 14 days of delivery to:

If Not Available:
- If you are not available to take delivery, a redelivery card will be left with instructions.
- Any costs incurred by Bavarian Flooring as a consequence of no-one being available to take delivery may be passed to you.
Refusal to Accept Delivery:
If delivery is delayed through your unreasonable refusal to accept, or if you do not accept/collect the product within two weeks of the first delivery attempt, Bavarian Flooring may:
- Charge you for storage fees and other costs (including redelivery costs)
- Cancel the contract and refund your payment minus reasonable administration charges

PACKAGING
Standard Packaging:
- Bavarian Flooring delivers in standard packaging.
- Any special packaging you request is subject to additional charges.
- You are responsible for disposal of all packaging (pallets, packaging materials, etc.).
Care When Opening:
You must take care when opening the product to avoid damage, particularly when using sharp instruments.
Returned Product Packaging:
If you return a product, you must ensure it is adequately packaged and carriage is prepaid. Bavarian Flooring is not responsible for damage caused by inadequate packaging on your part.

OWNERSHIP AND RISK
Risk Transfer:
- All risk in the product passes to you upon delivery (except where delivery is delayed due to your breach of obligations, in which case risk passes at the date delivery should have occurred).
- From the time risk passes to you, Bavarian Flooring is not liable for loss or destruction of the product.
Ownership:
You own the product on the later of:
1. When Bavarian Flooring delivers it to you
2. When they receive payment in full (including VAT and delivery charges)

FITTING SERVICE
Fitting Arrangements:
- Bavarian Flooring acts as an agent for independent self-employed floor covering installers.
- Fitting work is carried out under a separate contract between you and the fitter(s).
- The fitter(s) take full responsibility for the quality of their work and service.
- All registered fitters must act professionally and respectfully at all times.
Preparation Requirements:
- All rooms must be cleared of furniture and old floor coverings.
- The sub-floor must be fully prepared.
- All wires and cables must be removed.
- Note: The fitter is not responsible for disposal of old flooring.
If Installation Cannot Proceed:
If the installation cannot proceed on the scheduled day through no fault of Bavarian Flooring or the fitters, you may be responsible for losses incurred by the fitter.
Property Protection:
- Every reasonable precaution will be taken to protect property during installation.
- The fitter will endeavor to leave the property clean and tidy.
- All reasonable care will be taken to prevent damage to internal fittings and decorations.
- You must ensure the location is suitable prior to installation.
Installation Scheduling:
- After processing your order, Bavarian Flooring will contact you and your appointed fitter to arrange a mutually convenient installation date.
- Exact arrival and completion times cannot be guaranteed.
Payment:
- You agree to pay the fitter the mutually agreed price.
- Payment is due immediately after completion of installation.
- The quoted price is based on the fitter finding no faults or hindrances before services begin.
Coverage:
- Not all areas of the UK are covered by this service.
- You will be advised within a reasonable time if they cannot find a fitter for you.
- Bavarian Flooring cannot be held responsible for consequential losses due to cancellation of agreed dates by the fitter.
